monkeys?
i don't know what the french call it, but i intend to further the socio-political melange that has become the want of this forum recently by relating my thoughts on the debate i just witnessed between wayne swan and joe hockey broadcast on the ABC's lateline programme. well, thought really; when is virginia trioli going to stand in a federal seat for the labor party? and, whilst i bristle with political wit and wisdom, may i add, much to the annoyance of members of the public service, that should kevin rudd win the forthcoming election it will be the biggest win for style over substance ever. well, member really

In a world where ambition appears to count for more than talent, and the bar is raised just below the level of mediocrity, Trioli would be an ideal Labor candidate for Federal politics. Just look at Swan and Hockey.
BTW Did they screen test Trioli before they put her on Lateline? Her performance has been woeful.
thankyou, doctor. i note with interest too that the melbourne broadsheet has today (saturday march 3) labelled the labor leader naive in the extreme for his dalliance with brian burke. now, rudd is either a shrewd politician or he is not. and, if he is, as i am sure he would like to be credited with, he is not naive. which leaves only corrupt or stupid
